S1 — E7: Let Them Eat Birthday Cake
Tyler’s voice over plays “Previous on Ladies of Twitter” as scenes from Thursday’s episode play for a recap. We see Tyler and Joshuaa meeting at Karina’s home where they settle the drama between each other. We see Nina and Paul meet for lunch where Nina is seen on the verge of tears talking about the whole self defense class situation during lunch we see Paul comforting her. We see scenes of Joshuaa and Nina talking and having a drink at the hotel bar where Nina is currently residing. Dramatic music plays as we switch over to Tyler’s couple dinner where it is Paul vs. Casey. We hear both ladies throwing insults left and right at each other, we then see Tyler stand at the head of the table and scream “Everyone stop f*cking talking about everyone’s man. It’s bullsh*t and we need to stop it.” The recap ends with Adam telling Tyler not to ever put him in that situation again.
The scene then focuses on Tyler’s home where it is brightly lit with all of the lights turned on inside his marvelous home. We see him walk into the living room and fluff up the sofa cushions.
“I’m bringing Casey and Nina over today because they need to at least get to the point where they’re cordial with one another. We all run in the same circle and there is no reason they can’t at least say hello to one another. *laughs* and there better not be blood in my floor when this is over.” Tyler says.
We see Casey arriving to Tyler’s home. She parks and walks over to the door and rings the doorbell. Tyler greets her and brings her inside to the living room and the two sit to chit chat for a bit before Nina arrives.
“I have agreed to come and have a cordial conversation with this Nina girl! Yes I am going to apologize for my actions… do I mean it? Ehh…. I do mean it! Hopefully things can get better between us because I really want her to be my babysitter…” Casey says with laughter.
The scene cuts to a blacked out sports car roaring though the quiet neighborhood Tyler lives in.
We see the Lamborghini roll into Tyler’s driveway and park next to Casey’s car. The door swings open and we see Nina exit dressed in a pastel pink jumpsuit with off the shoulder sleeves.
“Tyler texted me asking if I could come and sit down with Casey and just hash everything out. I’m not going to lie I’m afraid because I don’t want to be punched or spat on, but I need to do this alone. Joshuaa said I need to toughen up with this crowd of strong minded women.” Nina says shrugging her shoulders.
Tyler greets Nina at the door and the two embrace each other with a hug, we then see Tyler lead Nina towards the living where Casey is waiting sipping on her coffee that Tyler’s housekeeper made for the ladies. Nina has a seat on the love seat while Tyler and Casey sit next to each other on the larger sofa.
“ Ladies, ladies, please sit. I have some tea and coffee coming as soon as it’s ready. I’m glad you could both make it. Casey why don’t you go first?” Tyler says picking up a cup of tea and handing it over to Nina.
“Listen Nina… I want to start off by saying that yes, we all know I was in the wrong for kicking you… the whole altercations should’ve not happened if Joshuaa didn’t mix or wagers you on. I want to actually apologize if I hurt you. I didn’t mean to hurt you but you started to go in on my and my first instinct was”This bitch is going down” that just how I was raised.” Casey says.
[Casey’s Interview] “ I mean it. I really do! Honestly it was Joshuaa’s fault. He brought her to my event uninvited. It seemed very calculated by her and Paul to have Nina there.”
[Tyler’s Interview] “do I think it’s fair to blame Joshuaa? No. Is this my fight? Also no.” Tyler sips his tea looking at the camera.
“Well thank you for apologizing for kicking me. You know at first we were messing around with the boxing but then things just started getting more intense and as you said too my first instinct was to fight back. * points to my face* this is my money maker, like this is how my bills are paid. I can’t have this getting marked up or anything. I’m sorry for going in on you also, it wasn’t my intention to come and ruin your event.” Nina says.
[Nina’s Interview] “I am sorry, but like I’m kinda not at the same time cause she’s a mean old lady. BUT if this is going to bring peace and bring me back into this group of ladies then I’ll say whatever needs to be said so the drama isn’t at an all time high like it has been these last 2 weeks.”
Tyler interjects and says “Nina darling, while we’re here, I truly hope you understand why I didn’t invite you to the couples’ dinner party last night. I just wanted everything resolved before I had you both at the same party again.”
Casey gets up and says “Can we hug and put this to the side and try to be at least cordial! I know you don’t want to have any fights with this old cow that I am.”
“Girl! I don’t want to break your hip!” Nina says as she gets up and gives Casey a hug while laughing.
“ oooo girl, we apologized and shaded in the same breathe? Man, ballsy. But you’ve gotta applaud it. Nina isn’t afraid of any sh*t.” Tyler says.
“Girl I already got one hip replacement I can’t do it another time. It’s a shame that Joshuaa isn’t here to see this with his big eyes.” Casey says sipping tea.
“So Casey, is your problem all with Joshuaa now, darling?” Tyler ask.
Nina toss her hair out of her face and then adjusts her huge diamond engagement ring and says “ I think you and Joshuaa should have a 1 on 1 like you and I are doing now Casey. I feel like you both prejudged each other and now it’s just spiraling out of control.”
“I agree with Nina. I think it’s time for us to sit down and have a 1 on 1 and talk it out like educated and respectful women that we are.” Casey says to Tyler.
“That sounds fabulous darling. The self defense class got messy for all of you and whether you love one another or not, you should at least be cordial.” Tyler says with a hug smile across his face.
The ladies sit and chat a bit more, Casey then decides the let them know she is playing a huge 49th birthday bash and would like to extend the invite out to Nina and Joshuaa. Nina accepts the invite and then the ladies begin talking about their significant others, Tyler let’s them know that Adam is booked with surgeries for the next 6 months. Nina and Casey talk about how Herman was trying to sign Jerry for a management contract as Jerry is one of the most in demand football players at the moment. Tyler and Casey then begin discussing the dinner drama between Casey and Paul, but before it can get too dramatic Tyler checks the time and let’s the ladies know he needs to turn in as he has a big day tomorrow with his family. Nina, Casey and Tyler all say goodbye to each other and the scene ends on a good note.
“ Tyler always seems to be having this Paul’s back although they just met. I see where he stands with our friendship. I’ll have a sit down with Paul… I won’t pay attention but I’ll sit down if I have to.”
We return from a commercial break to Tyler, Nina, and Paul meeting up a local spa to get pampered before Casey’s big birthday bash later in the evening. Tyler and Paul are already seated in the vibrantly colored seats at the nail tech stations, we then see Nina walk in and have a seat at the open station next to Paul.
“How’ve you been? Paul? It’s been a minute girl!” Nina says.
“I’ve been great Nina, but I have something to say… Tyler I am so sorry for creating such a huge scene in your home. I was just really mad and I just couldn’t stand her anymore.” Paul says.
“It’s fine Paul. It wasn’t YOUR fault.” Tyler responds.
“So what have you ladies been up to since I last saw you both?” Paul ask.
“Well we had a sit down with Casey. I’ll let Nina fill you in on the first part of that though darling.” Tyler says looking over at Nina.
“Casey and I are on good terms now! We had tea at Tyler’s beautiful home and just hashed it all out and we even hugs in the end!” Nina says with a smile.
The ladies continue chatting Paul fills Nina in on all the allegations and rumors Casey is spreading about him sleeping with married men and accusing Paul of being a gold digger.
“Now that Casey’s target is off my back I guess it’s on Paul’s now. I mean why can’t she be a nice little happy old lady like my grandma!” Nina says with laughter.
Nina gasp at the allegations of Paul being a gold digger and says “she must think everyone is a gold digger I mean even I was accused.”
“She’s trying to throw around rumors because she’s so unhappy with her life.” Paul says.
“She also threw some shade that made it seem like I make up things and insinuate shit to tell you like I’m some fucking puppet.” Tyler says in an angry tone.
“I’m no puppet, let’s make that clear to all these bitches.” Tyler says well looking dead on to the camera in his interview.
“She can talk about puppets because she’s the puppet master.” Paul says.
[Nina’s Interview] “I don’t care about their drama I just want to stay clear of it all and enjoy my time here in twitter and I want to choose a cute color for my nails.” Nina says with a smile.
Tyler and Paul both continue on talking about Casey, it’s pretty evident that Nina doesn’t want to be involved as she is seen with her head down during the whole conversation, she looks at the color of polishes and keeps trying to change the subject.
[Tyler’s Interview] “It’s clear that Nina is trying to stay far away from this shit now. But who could blame her after what happened last time..”
“ So any events you guys going to soon?” Paul ask both ladies.
“Casey’s 100th birthday bash.” Nina says busting into laughter.
The ladies laugh it off then we hear a familiar voice enter the salon and we see none other than Joshuaa.
“Hey ladies how are y’all? Sorry I’m late darlings I have been working again hence my fancy pants look!” Joshuaa says walking toward them.
Nina shouts “Oh my god! Your ass looks huge! Getting those squats in with the trainer I see.”
“Nina! It’s my trainer I’ve been dating\working with?” Joshuaa says with a wink.
All the ladies move over to the massage chairs where they pop open a bottle of champagne and each take a glass. Tyler informs Joshuaa all about the drama that happened at the couple’s dinner then the disrespect he put up with in with Casey yet again at the sit down with Nina.
“I leave for a second and Nina makes up with Casey so quick? I don’t get it!” Joshuaa says with confused look on his face.
“Sorry Josh, Tyler and Nina that I have to go because I actually have a business offer today with Twitter modelling incorporated I’m so excited.” Paul say as he gets out of the seat and gathers his belongings and heads for the door.
“How old is Paul?” Nina ask after Paul leaves.
“No clue Nina why?” Joshuaa responds.
“I don’t know, Nina darling, why do you ask?” Tyler says.
“I mean she’s a little old to try and start modeling again. Don’t you think beautiful girl don’t get me wrong!” Nina says sipping her champagne.
[Nina’s Interview] “I think Paul’s modeling days are over unless he’s doing catalog gigs for Twitter Mart?” Nina says laughing.
“She’s still gorgeous if you ask me. I think that’s the only quality that should be looked at in a model.” Tyler says defending Paul.
[Tyler’s Interview] “This Nina goes from drama with Casey to the beginnings of drama with Paul. What goes through that young head? She’s got a lot to learn here in Twitter if you ask me.”
[Joshuaa’s Interview] “imma have to speak to my brother soon” Joshuaa says rolling his big eyes.
The ladies talk about Casey’s birthday bash. Tyler insist that Joshuaa come with him just to show Casey that he is the bigger person in all of this. Nina is off in her own littler world not really playing attention to both ladies as the discuss the sit down between Nina and Casey. We close the scene with the ladies saying their goodbyes as the need to go prepare for Casey’s birthday bash later on this evening.
“Tonight is the night! I hope all goes as planned! It should be a fun night! I didn’t invite Joshuaa or Paul. I just wanted everyone to come and just be ready to have fun no drama! I’ve planned this for a while now! 49th! Can’t wait for another year!” Casey says.
We then cut the scenes of the party with guest arriving pretty soon filling up the venue to full capacity. We then see the first lady arrive and it is none other than Paul, who wasn’t invited to the event by Casey.
“ So I wasn’t exactly invited but Tyler told me I could come with her so I said why not. I’m not here to start any trouble tonight’s a fun night. I have no time for drama. I just want to dance, drink & laugh. Hmm … that sounds like a good life motto” Paul says nodding his head.
We then see Tyler enter the venue and walk over to Paul who is seen mingling with some industry professionals and friends. Nina then walks in and is swarmed with paparazzi as she shows off her hot figure in an electric blue dress with cut outs on the side. She make her way towards the other ladies stopping to grab a glass of champagne on the way over. We then see Casey working the room greeting everyone and mingling as she finally finds her way to the ladies. The camera cuts to our surprise guest entering the venue.
“ it’s Casey's birthday. I’m showing her how to act tonight. Great…. haha but I’m here to make sure she acts her age and is nice to all my other ladies. I mean you don’t turn 60 twice!” Joshuaa says.
“Happy birthday! Thanks for having me, hey ladies!” Joshuaa says has he walks up the group and with a present for Casey. Casey is in total disbelief at who he is seeing.
[Joshuaa’s Interview] “It’s a book on how to behave.” Joshuaa says while laughing.
We see Joshuaa hand Casey the gift and Casey surprisingly thanks him and continues to go on and open the gift. She sees a book and reads the title out loud “How To Behave & Other Etiquette Tips.” The rest of the ladies stand in silence and Joshuaa has a huge smile on his face.
“Joshuaa can I speak to you in private for a minute please.” Casey says.
The two step off to the side, Casey’s expression is hard to read as we don’t know whether she is about to lose it or accept the gift as a gag joke. Before Casey gets a word out the scene ends.
