Season 15, Episode 2: “Divorce on Aisle 15”
--
As the episode begins and the intro fades from the screen, we hear bells rings alongside shots of the Twitter city skyline, followed by clips of the Ladies going about their days. We see Devyn touring wedding venues with her wedding planner before we turn to a shot of Erica cooking in her mansion’s kitchen alongside her mother. Just then, the camera transitions as we see Billie Reed sitting behind the desk on the set of “Live” as the scene begins…
Billie’s Confessional: Whew, a LOT has happened since you all have last seen me. I’ve been in therapy, had a few failed relationships, maybe even did a Broadway show, wrote a book, and now, I’m back to daytime acting and filling in occasionally on a Twitter talk show! It’s been my passion to be on TV ever since I was a little girl. Being on TV like this has given me the opportunity to really showcase who I am and who I love to be! As much as I love my work life, I would love to find someone to fill my love bubble, so I can start settling down. In the meanwhile, I’m going to dance my nights away on the tabletops of the club!
Chad (Producer): And that’s SCENE! Great Job Billie and Ryan! This was another successful day on set with you two! Miss Reed keep up the good work we might have you a full-time spot on this show!
Billie: Thank you Chad, I appreciate you for having me on again this week! Billie stands up from behind the desk. Ryan, I’ll call you later about the new game idea I came up with!
Ryan Seacrest: Sounds good Billie, just give me a call later. I’ll be around. Ryan smiles.
Billie: Chad, I’ve gotta get to my dressing room! I’m supposed to have a call any minute about a role in a movie coming up soon!
Billie then walks away, as the cameras follow her to her dressing room where we see her seated in when she gets a call from her manager, Monica…
Monica (Billie’s Manager): Billie, it’s Monica! How was the talk show this morning? Did everything run smoothly?
Billie: It went really well today! Chad, the producer, said he wanted to talk to me about making looking at more of a permanent role down the road!
Monica: Well, that’s great. On that note, I have some more good news for you!
Billie: Ooh? Good news!? What is it?
Monica: You know how you auditioned for that role as the girl’s mom in the Scream movie?
Billie: Yes, what about it?
Monica: The director called me personally today and wanted me to tell you directly from his mouth that he LOVED your audition and thought this role would be best played by you, so the part in the movie is yours! And the best part about it is, you get to pick your own design and glam teams!
Billie: REALLY? He said all of that? This almost sounds good to be true. There has to be a catch to this…
Monica: So, the only catch is you have to spend some time in the Hamptons in New York. I do not think that’s the worst thing in the world. Do you?
Billie: No, no, that DEFINITELY isn’t the worst thing! Billie laughs.
Monica: I’m sure I could arrange something for you and your friends. So, you will take the deal?
Billie: Fuck it, I guess I’m doing a movie! Tell the director I’m in!
Monica: Okay, I’ll send over the contract and we will review it and send it back to them, so they can get started with the production of the movie!
Billie: Just tell me where to sign. This is the first movie I’ve been in since the early 2000s, so it feels good!
Billie’s Confessional: Billie is back, bitches!! Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I didn’t have all of this. But then I remember, I’m just getting started…and there’s a lot more of where that came from! Billie winks.
As the camera pans away from Billie and the studio, we see Luciana at Luci’s Exotic Lounge as she speaks with her staff before taking a seat at the bar and ordering a martini…
Luciana’s Confessional: I’m stopping by my lounge for a quick martini and thought I’d invite Devyn. We have had a very up and down relationship. And I didn’t like her attitude at Erica’s the other night…
The camera then transitions as we see Devyn making her way into the Lounge and towards Luciana as the scene begins…
Devyn’s Confessional: Luci invited me over to the bar to chat after our issues during Season 14. We did bury the hatch during Legends…I think. Let’s see what this is all about.
Luciana: Hello my dear!
Devyn: Hey honey. Devyn sits at the bar. Are you tending to the drinks today?
Luciana: Lucky me, yes, I am. How are you?
Devyn: I’m good. Devyn looks around. This could be a great place to host an engagement party! How are you?
Luciana: It’s a great place to have fun darling! Fun, fun, fun! I’ve been good! So tired lately with work.
Devyn: Devyn looks at bar menu and then up to the bartender. I’ll take a Long Island. Devyn turns back to Luciana. I’m sorry you should come by DEVine for a spa day. My treat. Self-care is important.
Luciana: Oh, next time! I’d love that
Devyn: Devyn sips drink. This is great. How are you feeling about the group?
Luciana: So, thank you for coming today. I wanted to talk about the group of Ladies. I felt like you were very tense when we all met…
A flashback plays of Devyn arguing with Grace and dismissing Luciana, before leaving the event, in the premiere episode…
Devyn: Listen, I’m glad you and I are okay now. I’m just not okay with Grace. Billie and I seem fine for now. Erica acted weird towards me at her event, and I don’t know any idea why. Leila is awesome. And then, I don’t know Harlow and Teairra. Do you?
Luciana: I’ve met Harlow a couple of times now, and she’s a saint. But she is someone you want to stay on their good side. You know what I’m saying?
Devyn: I get you. It seems like Grace put her in a weird position at Erica’s event. I’d like to get to know her though. And listen, I have enough enemies. I’m gonna be trying to stay on Miss Harlow’s good side.
Luciana: I agree, it was very confusing if she was invited or not, but I mean it’s a party. It’s not like having one extra would ruin the event. I’m trying to move on with Grace. We’ve been at it for so long, and my crystals told me…ENOUGH!! So, I’m moving on.
Devyn: I’ve always heard the more the merrier at a party. And good for you. I wonder if Grace and I can move forward. She really annoys me if I’m honest.
Luciana: That’s how she is though. You either love her or hate her. She means well…she just doesn’t come off the best. I think since I’ve been friends with her for so long, I just know she doesn’t mean harm in her deliveries.
Devyn: That’s a nice perspective. Maybe I should try. My life is good right now. I’m not trying to be arguing with some catty women. Devyn laughs.
Luciana: Same! I need some peace in my life!!
Devyn: Thank you for accepting my apologies and moving forward in this friendship place, Luci. It means a lot to me.
Luciana: I need to move on! It’s healthy. Just don’t tell me I sleep with married men again! Luciana laughs.
Devyn: Devyn laughs. I won’t honey. You are inspiring me to try with Grace, and to talk things out with Erica if I can.
Luciana: It’s worth a shot with those two.
Devyn: You’re right. Devyn checks her phone. Corey is here to pick me up. Can you have your event planner call me? I want to host a little party here soon!
Luciana: Yes! Let’s be in touch babe.
Devyn: Devyn gets up and hugs Luci. Thanks for the invite and the drink. Let’s gets to know these new gals! We might need them on our side.
Devyn’s Confessional: I really do love Luci. We’ve had our bumps, but she means well. I think I understand her way better than I used too.
Luciana’s Confessional: It was good checking in with Dev. She’s always very honest and real, so I believe her. I think our drama is done.
As Devyn gets up and exits the bar, the scene transitions across town as upbeat music plays. We then focus in on downtown Twitter, where we see Grace exit her Mercedes Jeep and walk into her Whitworth Estate offices. Grace greets the receptionist and waves to the staff as she travels through to reach her office…
Grace: Grace sighs. Okay, it’s a new day, let’s sell some homes! Clarice, can I get my coffee now please?
Grace’s Confessional: I mean, what is this life I am living now? Whitworth Estates has truly become like my second child, seriously! It’s come leaps and bounds from where it was when I first got divorced two years ago, we’re booming and we’re grooving, I couldn’t be happier!
Just then, the camera pivots as we see Grace’s daughter, Amy, enter the office…
Amy: Morning Mom! You look cute! So, we have the meeting today with the shareholders to remember, and we have your new headshot today too for the website rebrand.
Grace: Okay great, I booked the make-up artist Amal sent me and the photographer too, I’m all set. Then we have to make sure we get the final papers over to Devyn for her other home she just bought. You send it if that’s okay, I’m not really in the mood to talk to her right now and then come sit before you do anything else because I want to talk to you about something.
Grace’s Confessional: It’s been a long and tedious road with Devyn, especially when it comes to how she does business. She spoke bad of me all through Legends, and hasn’t really had my back as a friend, so no, I don’t want to talk to her. ANYWAY, I want to talk to Amy about this exciting business venture I was approached for by a publisher, to write a book all about ME. I know, who’s gonna buy it right? Grace laughs. Hopefully some of these bitches.
Amy: What is it?
Grace: Well, I’ve been approached by a publisher to write a book on my life, my struggles and my business success and I wanted to know if you thought about it? Grace claps excitedly.
Amy: Amy looks concerned. I mean, I think that sounds like a brilliant opportunity mom, but I am concerned about it to be honest, especially if you’re writing about our family and what’s happening there — like, now with Dad not speaking to either of us.
Grace: Look, he will come around honey. I know your father, he’s a fickle man at times and wants the attention of us begging him to come back. We are strong women; we do not pander to a man’s needs just because his ego is bruised, and he’s made bad mistakes.
Grace’s Confessional: Mark isn’t in our lives right now, since signing the company to me and losing a lot of his fortune to some bad investments, Amy and I weren’t willing to continue to fund his lifestyle anymore. It hurts Amy I know, but this book is a brilliant chance for me to tell the full story of our lives, the true beginning of our business and the truth about what it really takes to be a business boss.
Amy: I think it’s a great chance for you to tell people, especially the Ladies you hang out with what you really have had to go through and endured in your personal life too. I’ll be there, to hold your hand of course. Now let’s go get these headshots done!
Grace: I love you — we will see what comes of it.
Just then, the receptionist calls Grace and Amy to go and take their headshots. We then see Grace and Amy taking their new headshots for Whitworth Estates, as we now transition to several days later. There we see Grace making her way into a store in Twitter and beginning to look around…
Grace’s Confessional: I invited Erica for a good catch up and some shopping downtown, there’s a whole new area they built — it’s fabulous. ANYWAY, I want to get to the bottom of this apparent issue I have with Erica. I love her, I just want to celebrate her!
Grace: Grace is greeted with some champagne. Hello! Oh my, this is stunning!
Just then, the camera pivots as we see Erica entering the store shortly behind Grace…
Erica’s Confessional: After my announcement party, I’m a bit apprehensive about sitting down and meeting with Grace, especially after what transpired there. However, I have enough respect for what Grace and I’s friendship was to have a talk with her and just get to the bottom of where everything went left.
Erica: I really love what they did with this place.
Grace: Oh, there she is! Glowing in all her glory!
Erica: Erica smiles. Well, thank you. You look lovely yourself. Erica sits down. Mama needs to sit. Erica laughs.
Grace: I guess I didn’t think when I said come to this place. It’s not really a maternity vibe. Grace winces. Can we get Erica a hot tea or something?
Erica: Oh, that would be lovely! So, how are you? We haven’t spoken since the party.
Grace: I’m doing really well, thank you. How’re you?
Erica: I’ve been better. I appreciate you actually reaching out instead of letting whatever this is between us fester.
Grace: I must say I hope I didn’t upset you, although I was confused about what you were saying at your event. Because I spoke to you about it. What do you think it is? This… thing between us?
Erica: Well firstly, I have no recollection of a conversation about bringing your friend. Even when I checked our messages and the group chat, I didn’t even see that conversation. Erica shrugs. As for us… I think everything really changed after Legends. It was just this tension between us. We haven’t been close since filming that show.
Grace: I sent it to you directly hun. Grace shows Erica her phone. And I agree, I understand I made mistakes on that trip, and I tried to make amends. I’ve sorted things with Luci and Tre. I had hoped to have heard from you, but I didn’t.
Grace’s Confessional: Erica is right we’re not as close, but that’s down to both of us.
Erica: Erica looks over at Grace’s phone, surprised, before looking back over her messages. Oh…I see what happened here, I never fully read your message… I just liked it and said see you there. Whoops. Erica sips her tea.
Grace: Right… So, to me, that’s an issue. You say there’s an issue with us and I agree. But you don’t read my messages. Grace laughs.
Erica’s Confessional: Let’s just say at the time… I wasn’t really interested in reading anything from Miss Grace Whitworth.
Grace: Harlow was pretty upset.
Erica: Well, I can apologize to you about this because, I didn’t read the message and it caused a huge misunderstanding. I do believe that I can sit down and talk to Harlow, I just hope she’s not thinking too much when we do.
Grace: I think you should, she’s going through a lot. She’s great, you guys would get along! So, what do we do here? With us? What upset you most? Did I say something to you?
Grace’s Confessional: I’m making a conscious effort with Erica, but she’s not giving me much and isn’t really seeming to want to explain her side. Legends was rough for me, but her and I were good. I thought…
Erica: I think I just saw a lot of flaws when it came to how you treated your friends, even after we talked, It was really just a lot. Like I said when we first met, I don’t trust a lot of people so in my mind, the best thing to do was back away from this friendship before I turned out like your other friends. Erica shrugs.
Grace: You and I have never had an issue. Luci and I have a complicated friendship. We both owned up to our mistakes and we’re good. I love you! I don’t want a rift, but I understand if you feel the way you do
Erica: I don’t want a problem with you, Grace. Like you said, you and I never had a problem. I just don’t want to be another Luci situation at all.
Erica’s Confessional: I’m deciding to move on with Grace because although I don’t like some of the things she does, she’s never not been a good friend towards me. I just hope this is the end of all this tension between us and we can just start anew.
Grace: Believe me, I’m on a new journey. And it’s not about ending friendships of those who are there for me. So, can we hug it out??
Erica: Yes, of course we can! Erica stands up holding her arms out.
Grace: Grace hugs Erica. Now, let’s go and get something for this bump!
Grace’s Confessional: I love Erica, I hope this can be the refresh we needed after Legends. A new start!
Erica: Wait! What the hell happened with you and Devyn?
Grace: You saw Legends and what she was saying about me. I’ve never had a bad thing to say about her. I don’t need a friend like that. She’s also not as business savvy as she’ll have us believe.
Erica: Erica smirks. Trust me, I know. I honestly believe this was a desperate effort redeem herself, God knows she needs it.
Grace: I think she’s as desperate as it comes. I want no part in that mess. What happened with you two? I thought you were besties…
Erica: I think I should just say it. Devyn tried to sleep with me while filming Legends.
Erica’s Confessional: While we were filming Legends, Devyn actually started kissing on me and wanted to you know… FUCK. Out of respect for my husband, I immediately turned it down and it’s been weird ever since then.
Erica: I thought our flirting was pretty innocent, but apparently she really did have feelings.
Grace: Wait, so I’m confused…
Erica: Erica laughs. Grace, Devyn wanted to have SEX with me.
Grace: Why didn’t you say anything when we were all together? Or invite her to your event? Grace shakes her head. SEX! Oh my god, GET ME ANOTHER CHAMPAGNE!
Erica: I didn’t even think too much of it, but apparently, she’s been feeling a way about me and if we’re going to talk about the weirdness then we’re going to talk about the facts.
Grace: Oh my god. This is so unexpected!
Erica’s Confessional: Devyn has always been a freak; you guys have watched it almost every other year. She can’t keep a relationship to save her life because she’s a… FREAK.
Erica: I just have nothing to say to her. What’s done is done, and my husband and I are fine. I did mention it to Billie & Tre when this all went down though. So, Billie definitely knows. Erica sips her tea.
Grace: But she was at your event? Doesn’t that seem counterintuitive?
Erica: The invite was for everyone, Luci was also there and her & her sister tried to attack me last year. I didn’t know there was “beef” between Devyn and I. We just aren’t friends. Simple.
Grace: Okay well, good to know. Grace laughs.
Erica: But yes! Let’s go get baby me some clothes!
Grace: Well, alrighty then!
Grace’s Confessional: I am shook, shocked and shuckled! This is unexpected and yet expected. Cheers to Erica!
As the camera pans out and we see Grace and Erica departing this shop for another, we next move to the Upper East Side where we focus in on Leila’s, Leila’s boutique in the heart of Twitter. We see several shots of the boutique, before the camera focuses in on Leila, who is speaking with a customer and her employees as the scene begins.
Leila’s Confessional: I don’t know Teairra and Harlow that well. I’ve heard Harlow’s name before, but I want to get the rundown on who they both are. Leila snaps her fingers.
We then transition as we see Teairra stepping out of her car and walking towards the boutique…
Teairra’s Confessional: I don’t know much about Leila! But she does seem like she has an eye for fashion like myself, I’m not sure what to expect with this boutique she has because… I’ve never seen or heard of it! Teairra laughs. But I want get to know her! So, this should be interesting.
Teairra: Well, this is cuter than I expected! Teairra walks towards the boutique and walks in. Hello, hellooo!
Leila: Hey Teairra! Welcome to Leila’s! Here’s a glass of champs! Leila hands Teairra a glass.
Teairra: Teairra takes the glass. Oh! Thank you, Leila! Teairra looks around. This is really pretty. I’m not sure what I was expecting. Teairra laughs.
Leila: Thanks!
Teairra: Of course! Teairra walks around a little bit. We definitely need to have some conversation! And I need to get to know the girls here. Where should we sit?
Leila: I was waiting for Harlow, but let’s sit on these couches over here! Leila leads Teairra to the couches.
Just then, the camera pivots as we see Harlow making her way towards the boutique…
Harlow’s Confessional: After the trainwreck that was Erica’s event, where either I was lied to or I was getting hated on, the purpose of today is me getting to know these new girls.
Harlow: Harlow opens the door. Hey guys!
Leila: Harlow! Come join us!
Harlow then walks to the Ladies and sits with them on the couches…
Teairra: Oh, speaking of her! Hello! Teairra waves to Harlow.
Leila: So, Teairra, you’re new to Twitter, right?
Teairra: Yes! Teairra crosses her legs and sips her drink. Are you?
Leila: Oh no girl, I’m born and raised here!
Teairra: Well, I just moved here not too long ago from Cali, the energy here is very different! Do you enjoy it here? Teairra laughs.
Leila: I absolutely love Twitter, I wouldn’t live anywhere else. The vibes are amazing!
Harlow: Twitter is amazing.
Leila: Have you lived here long Harlow?
Harlow: Well, I’ve been here for a long time, but I started off in Toronto. The climate between Twitter and Toronto are very similar, so Twitter really feels like home. That’s why I love it.
Teairra: Aw, that’s cute!
Leila: Hmm…and what do you do!?
Harlow: Well, actually, I’m very, like, private. But you probably do know the brand I’ve created. It’s a jewelry line called Laurier. It’s been worn by many A-List celebs, and it’s everywhere over the world.
Leila: I have here and there, but I never knew there was a face to the name! It’s a nice line!
Teairra: Teairra nods and looks at Harlow. Oh! You’re a jeweler?
Harlow: Yes!
Leila’s Confessional: Harlow’s line is alright, from what I’ve seen on a few A-list celebs. It’s not as prominent as she’s making it out to be…
Leila: And do you work or have a brand, Teairra?
Teairra: Yes, I’m a model. I have modeled in a couple magazines & fashion shows, and I’m also in the works of starting my own fashion line, but its a process! Teairra laughs.
Leila: That’s cute! I have lots of connections, so let me know if you need any help!
Teairra: Of course! But do you do anything else? Have any other professions? Teairra sips her drink.
Leila: Well, this boutique, my family, and being a Twitter socialite take up most of my time. I’d rather do a few things successfully than do too many professions.
Teairra: Teairra nods. Well, that’s good! At least we all have something going for ourselves.
Leila: So, are you both married? Leila sips her champagne.
Teairra: Yes, I’m married. Teairra shows her ring. Been married for years now!
Harlow: Well, actually, I recently just filed for divorce from my husband. Harlow looks down. I’m trying so hard not to cry! Harlow chuckles.
Leila: Oh no! I’m sorry girl!
Teairra: Teairra’s eyes widens. Oh my! Was there a reason for divorcing? Sorry if that’s insensitive.
Harlow: There was a reason. Many actually. One of them is that he would use our money unwillingly, and that he was so full of himself. It’s just really hard.
Harlow’s Confessional: Going through my divorce is hard. I hope that I’m able to connect with the other divorced women in the group to get myself through the process.
Leila: What do you mean by he used your money unwillingly? What did he do?
Harlow: Well, without telling me, he would go to restaurants with his friends, buy a lot of food, and the bill would come out to thousands of dollars. There were many more reasons, but I don’t want to go into detail.
Teairra: So, what I’m hearing is, he was broke?
Harlow: Harlow nods. Basically.
Harlow’s Confessional: I don’t marry men for money. I marry them for love.
Teairra: Oh my, at least you got out before it was too late! Teairra laughs. Can’t give those type of people opportunities.
Harlow: He was a cashier at a Walgreens. Harlow laughs. Sorry. It’s so funny to me he was a cashier at a Walgreens.
Leila: Not a cashier at Walgreens! Leila laughs.
Teairra’s Confessional: Harlow seems like an airhead, but I love how hone- well I’m not sure how honest this story is, but I like that she shared that information, couldn’t be me.
Leila’s Confessional: He spent thousands of dollars at restaurants every night, but was a cashier at Walgreens? Something’s not adding up
Teairra: But anyway! Since we all met the ladies by now, what do you guys think about them? Teairra looks at the Ladies.
Leila: Well, I know all of them, so I want to know what you two thought. Leila sips champagne.
Teairra: Well, I didn’t really get to talk to all of them, but I was warned about one of them. Teairra sips her drink. And eh, seems kind of accurate.
Harlow: I’m not really in with first impressions. I did feel like I had a rocky start with Erica, but that’s only because of what happened with Grace. I hope that I’m able to start a genuine friendship with her as time goes on. But I feel like the screaming match was definitely horrible and at the wrong time.
Leila: Did Grace really send a text message to Erica? It seemed fabricated…
Harlow shrugs her shoulders…
Leila: Knowing things about Grace, I don’t really believe her…
Teairra: Well, Grace was the one I was warned about, Erica told me she’s not to be trusted.
Leila: Leila looks at Teairra. She’s not. Keep your eyes open with her. That’s all I’ll say. Leila smirks.
Teairra: Well Harlow, that’s your friend, right? Do you trust her?
Harlow: I trust her a lot. She is going through my divorce with me, and I don’t feel like an old hag like Grace would like photoshop that text. Would she? No shade!
Teairra’s Confessional: Well! Do I feel bad spreading what Erica told ME? No, I feel like everybody should be aware even though I don’t know much about grace from my perspective, what I saw from her at Erica’s event kinda shows exactly what Erica meant.
Leila: Who said she photoshopped it?
Harlow: I mean in general. How would she fake a text?
Leila’s Confessional: She has young people at that fraudulent business of hers that can photoshop it. She wants an issue with Erica, she knew what she was doing.
Teairra: Teairra takes a sip out her drink. I mean everybody can fake a text nowadays, it’s not that hard if you have people around you that can help.
Leila: You can probably google right now fake text messages and websites would pop up! Leila laughs.
Teairra: But what would even be the point of that, these ladies are too old for childish things like that, and for a first impression? That’s a bad look.
Leila: Did you see how out of her way she went to make sure the text was known? It’s suspect.
Harlow: I’m scared that I’m gonna be involved with all of the shit that Grace is in. I came here to make friends!
Teairra: I kinda feel like you also were set up, because you were brought as a plus one, right?
Harlow: Correct.
Leila: I agree, it felt like you were a pawn.
Teairra: Yea, that was a bit messy. I don’t think you deserved that, I don’t think Erica meant any harm, but she knows Grace so she feels like that was a jab at her, so you kinda took some of the heat for it. Teairra shrugs.
Leila: Once you get to know Erica, you’ll love her.
Harlow: I hope so. I wanna love everyone!
Leila: Well, this was so fun but I’ve got to pick the kids up from school in a few minutes! Leila stands up.
Teairra: I agree! Teairra stands up afterwards. This was cute, Ladies.
Harlow: This was definitely fun!
As the Ladies stand to depart Leila’s boutique, the scene shifts as we hear somber music and focus in on Luciana’s uptown Twitter apartment. There, we see Luciana in her kitchen with Maria as Maria pours them both cups of coffee and the scene begins…
Luciana’s Confessional: I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs, but this summer rocked my world…Maria told me a deep dark secret of our family. Maria and I are not sisters. A flashback plays of Luci and Maria crying together several weeks earlier. We’re not sisters because…I was adopted. My mommy and daddy are not who I thought they were. This has rocked my world…
Maria: How are you doing?
Luciana: I feel like I got hit by a box of tomatoes.
Maria: I know sweetie. It’s going to be okay though.
Luciana: What do you mean? I am ruined, RUINED.
Maria: Hunny, we’re still sisters. Forever.
Luciana: But not BLOOD!
Maria: as an icon once said, blood isn’t always thicker than water.
Luciana: You know your parents. I do not! There’s a difference!!!
Maria: I know. We will do whatever it takes to find them. You have me and Grace. We will help.
Luciana: I’m…I’m…I’m just struggling.
Maria: Want me to go open the restaurant? You stay in today.
Luciana: I need that! Thank you. Luciana walks to Maria and gives her a kiss on the forehead before walking back into her bedroom and shutting the door as the camera pans back to Maria.
Maria: Do I think she’s upset? Yes. But, also wouldn’t be surprised if she really doesn’t want to open the restaurant today because she had one too many martinis. Maria cackles.
As the camera pans away from Luciana’s apartment, we transition to the Twitter Hills, where we see shots of various mansions before focusing in on a shot of Erica’s home. We then see a shot of Erica as she finishing setting up some food and drinks in her garden…
Erica’s Confessional: After my conversation with Grace, I’ve decided to invite Harlow and Grace over to my home to actually clear up any misunderstandings that took place at my party. I just hope, Harlow isn’t thinking too much today.
Just then, the camera transitions as we see Harlow and Grace arrive and step out of their cars, making their way up the steps of Erica’s home…
Harlow: Harlow knocks on the door. Hello? Knock knock!
Grace: Go in honey, she’s open.
Harlow: Harlow walks in. Hello?! I’m here! Harlow continues walking and sees Erica. Hey babe! Harlow hugs Erica. How are you?
Grace: Wow, this place? Stunning!
Erica: Hi Ladies, Welcome to my home. Erica hugs Harlow. I’m glad you could make it. We’ll be out here in the garden. Erica hugs Grace. Thank you, my love.
Harlow: Lovely.
Grace: I’m so happy to be here with you both. A more intimate introduction!
Erica: Erica sits down with a charcuterie board on the table. Yes, this is a much better way to get to know Harlow. First and foremost, I do want to extend an apology on my behalf Harlow. It was a misunderstanding between Grace & I and I did not mean to come at you so rudely.
Grace: Very rudely, uhuh. Grace nods.
Harlow: I understand why you had come at me. It’s all an understanding matter.
Erica: Erica laughs at Grace. I think it was just mildly rude. I didn’t go fully rude. Erica winks. But yes, I apologize Harlow and I hope we can move on from this. I’m a fun time when you get to know me!
Harlow: That’s what I’ve been hearing, and I’d love to get to know everyone in a great way!
Grace: Tell Erica about yourself. Grace nibbles on the food. I’ll just sit and eat!
Harlow: Well actually, I live a very private life, but I own a successful jewelry brand. I own the brand LAURIER, and I created it from scratch. You probably know it, as it’s very A-List and everywhere. Nothing is fake. It’s all real. 24 Carat Diamond Rings, no fakes!
Grace: You should host some sort of event Harlow! These ladies have MONEY!
Grace’s Confessional: You can’t be private in this group, they’ll either find out what it is or think you’re hiding something…
Erica: Jewelry? Now Grace knows I’m a sucker from a good gem! I might need to stop by. I also love that you’re a breadwinner! I actually started my business from the ground up as well, so I love that your business is actually successful.
Harlow: Thank you. Harlow smiles. It means a lot!
Erica’s Confessional: Laurier? I’ve never heard of her. I didn’t even know Harlow lived in Twitter and owned a line, but that’s neither here nor there. She’s a sweet girl and I love that she actually has money to HER name not her husbands.
Grace: So, Harlow how were your drinks the other day or whatever it was? With Leila?
Harlow: I actually loved it. Leila and Teairra were both very sweet, and I’m happy I got to know both of them better.
Grace: And Erica what’s the deal with Teairra? She’s gorgeous, oh my god! Grace sips her wine.
Erica: Teairra is a nice girl! Very nice, we’ve known each other for years but we’re just not as close as we used to be. I was a bit shocked that she moved here, seeing as though her husband was so “successful” in Cali.
Grace: Yeah, I heard she can be quite mysterious? How do you know her, Erica? And Harlow, c’mon we’re gonna need more than that, give us details!
Erica: Robert & her husband Donte has been friends for years! So, when Robert and I stayed in Cali for a bit, they were like our right-hands. But anytime I ask about the move, it’s been very dismissive, or she changes the subject. Erica shrugs. Nothing about Cali, I guess.
Harlow: As if I have more to say! Harlow laughs. But Leila’s boutique is very beautiful as well.
Grace: Hmm intriguing…I barely spoke to her at your event. Time will tell, you can’t have secrets in this group!
Erica’s Confessional: Teairra’s sudden move to Twitter is very…weird. She just moved instantly and left everything behind in Cali? I’ve heard of fresh starts but hunny…something’s very off.
Erica: Erica looks at Harlow. So, what did you ladies talk about at the Boutique? Did she talk about her moving?
Harlow: Well, I don’t think she talked about her moving, but she did mention she was from Cali. We had also talked about your party.
Grace: Well, that’s no fun. Talking of husbands, have you spoke to yours, Harlow? My ex bumped into him a few weeks ago.
Erica: Erica swirls her tea. You’re married Harlow?
Harlow: Nope. Harlow shakes head. In fact, I recently starting divorcing mine.
Grace’s Confessional: My ex and Harlow’s soon to be ex are very close friends. It’s how I met her in fact.
Grace: He’s a great guy! But you deserve better, H!
Erica: I’m sorry to hear that. May I ask what happened?
Harlow: Many reasons. He used our money unwillingly, like spending it for dinner, which the bill came out to thousands of dollars. I mean he worked as a Walgreens cashier, but he was wealthy due to inheritance.
Erica: Walgreens’ Employee? Oh Harlow, let’s go find you a man honey! A real one!
Grace: You did me proud when you kicked him out! She likes them at the bottom of the food chain.
Harlow: Harlow laughs. It’s funny to me he was working at Walgreens!
Erica’s Confessional: Harlow is gorgeous and successful and for her to let a leech just latch on to her is insane! Is the light on up there?
Erica: Erica laughs. She like’s a come-up story I see, but he just wasn’t coming up. Poor thing.
Grace: What did you think of Devyn, Harlow?
Harlow: I love her. I don’t normally make first impressions, but currently I love everyone. First impressions just don’t exist, cause first impressions are made to reflect on someone’s whole entire personality, and that’s not who I am.
Grace: Be careful there, that’s all I’ll say. Grace checks her phone. Ladies, I’m so sorry I have to run back to the office, seller emergency apparently. I’ll leave you two to it. Grace airkisses them both. Bye MWAH!
As Grace departs, the camera returns to Harlow and Erica…
Erica: So Harlow, since you’re so private, how is it actually coming into a group of ladies? I know I was a bit stand offish last year when I came.
Harlow: I mean I wanna come nicey, nicey right now, because I’m not here to make a big problem with anyone, cause I wanna get to know the ladies. But if my buttons are pressed, my nukes will activate.
Erica: Erica smirks, intrigued. I know that’s right. Just tell your business accordingly, there’s always some snakes moving around in the grasses of Twitter. Erica sips her tea.
Harlow: I hear that A LOT.
Erica: Wow, really? What names has been circulating? You know I need the tea girl…
Harlow: Grace definitely warns me about Devyn a lot. I mean I like her right now. And then I’m also hearing about Grace, but like I’ve known her for a long time, and I she’s loyal to me ever since my divorce.
Erica: I will say, some things Grace can do is very questionable but at this point… it’s just her. As for the other chick, watch your back around that one. Well, this was lovely Harlow, I actually have a doctor’s appointment to get to, but thanks for coming over. Take all the snacks you want! Erica laughs.
Harlow: Yes! Harlow laughs. I’m not hungry right now but thank you for having me! This was such a nice talk!
Harlow’s Confessional: I’m so excited to get to know Erica better. She sounds really fun, and I hope that we grow really close as time goes on!
As Harlow leaves Erica’s home, the scene transitions as thunder plays in the background and camera focuses in on Billie’s beachfront mansion. There we see Billie getting ready in her bedroom, followed by shots of a beautiful catered dinner spread in Billie’s kitchen.
Billie’s Confessional: I thought since we had such a fun time on Legends I would try and have the ladies over for a dinner and reminisce on the good times we all had on that trip! Except Luci, this is a do over dinner for her!
As Billie gets ready upstairs, the camera transitions as we see Devyn, Grace, and Luciana arriving to Billie’s home, greeted by a butler handing them each champagne…
Devyn: Devyn takes the champagne. Thanks Mario. Tell Billie to hurry up. Devyn goes and sits by the pool.
Luciana: Luciana takes the Champagne and takes a sip. Oh yum!
Devyn: Out here, Luci!
Luciana: Well, there she is! Dev! My love!
Grace: Grace takes champagne. Oh delicious, what a lovely glass too! Hello ladies!
Grace’s Confessional: I’m on a new path right now, so I’m going into this with open eyes and an open heart. But I won’t take shit, that isn’t going to change. These girls, we experienced something huge together, so it’s nice to be back together
Billie: Billie walks down the stairs. Hellloooo ladies!! It’s fabulous to see you all! Hi Grace, how are you doing?
Grace: Good thank you Billie, you? I brought you some flowers!
Billie: Oh, those are gorgeous! I’ll set them where we are eating dinner! Billie makes her way out by the pool, with Grace alongside her. Hi Devyn, and Luci!! I see you two have made yourselves at home!!
Luciana: We sure have!!
Devyn: Yes, we have. It’s lovely out here.
Devyn’s Confessional: I don’t really want to cause problems at Billie’s house, but I won’t be pretending I like Grace or that something isn’t off between Erica and I.
Just then, as another thunderous boom plays in the background, we see Erica making her way through the home and peeking out to where the Ladies are congregated…
Erica: Sorry I’m a little late girls, hope I didn’t miss anything!
Luciana: So… the gang is back together.
Devyn: Yes…we are.
As thunder and ominous music play, the Ladies and scene fade away as the screen says…
