Season 17, Episode 7: “Beach Please”
As the episode begins and the title card fades from the screen, we hear serene music as the Ladies are seen in their rooms putting on pajamas and robes as we see a shot of the sun setting along the coast of Nantucket. We watch as we see Daphne speaking with her staff, followed by shots of the decorations all over the living room as the scene begins…
Erica: Erica is shown sashaying down the stairs making her way to the living room. It’s PARTY TIME!
Erica’s Confessional: Tonight, Daphne has thought it would be best spend our last night actually trying to have some fun. Hopefully, we’ll have a whole new catering crew, and we can actually have fun playing these games. I don’t want to chew any rubber tonight.
We then watch as Amal and Teairra making their way into the living room next…
Teairra: WOOOOOOO!
Teairra’s Confessional: I missed the last little yacht party that Daphne hosted earlier today, and I was even planning on missing this but when I heard I can come in pajamas I was kinda living, I won’t lie…but I just don’t know what this evening has in store for us. I heard last time wasn’t too pretty for some of the girls, but I’m here now and ready for the “fun!”
Polly: Polly walks down the steps. Oh look at you girls looking all comfy!
Polly’s Confessional: I took myself away to breathe and reset and talk to my kids and my husband and my assistant and now that I’m re-centered I’m excited to enjoy a pajama night with the girls!
Erica: Erica looks around in the living room. I’m just looking for drinks, if we’re having a game night, we need to do it right!
Teairra: Teairra looks around. Where’s the host? And where’s the drinks, is this not a pajama party?
Billie: Billie walks down the stairs. Well hello ladies! I thought I’d be the last one to arrive, but I see the hostess with the mostess is also very tardy! Billie laughs.
Erica: Erica comes back downstairs with Tequila. Honey, I’ll get this party started! Gather around ladies, Erica with the shots!
Polly: Oh yum! Do we have limes? How was the boat today girls?
Billie: That’s what I like to see! Billie grabs a shot. The boat was so much fun!
Erica’s Confessional: Of course, Daphne is late. She’s just a hypocritical mess. She had such a disdain for Amal and her tardiness, and this is like her third time being late to places. Girl Gone. Erica fans the camera away.
Erica: Erica takes shot with the other Ladies. Now that’s what I’m talking about!
Teairra: I missed the boat thing, but I heard everybody was kinda having a good time right? Teairra looks around.
Billie: I had a wonderful time out on the boat, and then shopping this afternoon with the core four was a good time!
We watch as the camera briefly pans to several hours earlier, where we see Amal, Teairra, Billie, and Erica at a shopping center, walking around and purchasing their friendship bracelets, before the camera returns to the scene…
Polly: I love that for you Billie. We love some shopping!
Amal: Amal nods. It really was a lovely time with us four.
Billie: Yes, I had a great time, we even got matching friendship bracelets! I grabbed you and Daphne one too. Billie smiles at Polly.
Erica’s Confessional: I’m all for Billie playing nice with Polly but I thought it was kind of a core four thing… I didn’t think Polly and Daphne earned that just yet.
Billie’s Confessional: Look I’m trying to prove to these girls that I can move forward with this little girl and be cordial. I figured getting them matching bracelets with us would be the first step of an olive branch.
Polly: Erm, thanks Billie. It’s… great!
Erica: Erica looks around the living room. So, what shall we do? Clearly, the hostess without the mostess is not joining us.
Polly’s Confessional: It’s so ugly I am not wearing that. Polly laughs. Who wears chunky plastic for jewelry these days?
Billie: Well, yours isn’t real gold Polly but it was a close second to our bracelets! Billie pauses and looks at a text from Daphne. Oh ladies, I just got a text from Daphne.
Teairra: What’d she say?
Billie: She said that us Ladies have drained her energy from all of the chaos we have caused and that she is packing up to leave back to Twitter. She just couldn’t handle being around the toxicity anymore in the group and emphasized both Teairra and Erica played a major part in that. She said we need to be out of the house first thing in the morning, and that she’ll be seeing us back in Twitter to discuss some things.
Billie’s Confessional: Look I’m shocked that Daphne just up and left us here without a warning, but these bitches will do it to you. I get it Daphne, I really do. But damn why didn’t you tell me so I could’ve left too!
Amal: Amal chokes on her water. Are you serious?
Erica: She won’t be seeing me anywhere in Twitter.
Polly: What happened on the boat? Why would she leave us in her home that’s so weird?
Teairra: Teairra makes a face. We played a part in that? Teairra laughs. Wow, she really is as fragile as I thought.
Billie: I think we might’ve scared her away girls… Billie shakes her head. I didn’t realize that this would affect her this much.
Teairra’s Confessional: Really Daphne? You wanted us here so badly so we can come here and sit around in pajamas just for you to run to the airport last minute? On a trip SHE wanted to host like wow…I mean Polly even stuck around even if Billie was poking at her, did me and Erica really pull so many strings you have to flee?
Amal’s Confessional: Look, I get that this trip has been a lot for Daphne. From the moment we arrived these girls have disrespected her but… Amal shakes her head. You can’t do that. You can’t just leave us in your family home on a trip you set up. I’m truly shocked. I didn’t think she’d do that.
Polly: Polly goes to an expensive liquor cupboard. Well, if she’s late or if she’s not coming then I say we get the good stuff
Billie: I think between Erica and Teairra questioning her it’s just been a lot!
We then hear ominous music begin to play as we hear the sound of a suitcase’s wheels, before the camera pans to Daphne who is making her way down the stairs of the estate…
Daphne: Daphne walks into the room. Actually, I was ready to board my family jet and leave, however I thought as this is my trip, at my family estate I should address some things… Daphne looks at all the ladies one by one.
Billie: Oh? Well come have a seat, Daphne.
Teairra: Oh wow, she’s here.
Erica: Erica crosses her legs. Well, I’m glad you could make it back to your own estate. Now would you like to elaborate on this text message that you sent to Billie. The floor is all yours.
Daphne: Daphne sits down next to Billie. Sure, Erica. I was about to leave because I have been disrespected, dismissed and shit talked in my own house that I was raised in. So, I figured if you guys couldn’t bother to have any manners, why should I?
Polly: But why leave us without explaining? It’s a bit strange Daph.
Erica: And who all has disrespected you? Because you’ve only mentioned Teairra and I.
Teairra: Right? I thought we were just playing a game and being real.
Amal: Well to be fair, these two… Amal gestures at Billie and Polly. They were arguing about the beautiful accommodation.
Polly: Polly scoffs at Amal. Billie you mean, I’ve been very well behaved considering.
Daphne: Well, you clearly have Erica, haven’t you? I recall you calling me a bitch and calling my guests at the clam bake “old creeps.”
Erica: Which they were, and yes, you were being a bitch at time. You came at me for what reason exactly? You didn’t have that energy with Polly when she stated that her food was uncooked, you turned the other way when Teairra said she would kick you out of your own estate, hell Billie screamed at everyone here but by me saying your timid which you are, you wanted to make a moment out of it why?
Daphne: You were being rude just for the sake of it Erica, stop bringing the other girls into it. And guess what? If you guys want to act like absolute morons and make a fool out of yourselves, go ahead, I am not here to discipline you, you are grown women, and I supposed you’d act like it. Obviously, I was wrong. You were extremely rude to my face about the food, just to get back at me for the fact that I don’t watch your cooking TikToks.
Erica: Erica lets out a laugh. Did you think about that as you packed your luggage? Erica sits up. Let me break it down for you hun! Because you’re getting everything confused. Multimillion Dollar Beauty Line! FACT! A Stake in a multibillion-dollar luxurious suites company! FACT! And now dominating every social media you even turn ya lazy eye to look at! A FUCKING FACT! Check my resume, bitch don’t come for ME! This is a household and self-made name you could never come for THIS success.
Billie: Okay, Erica we see you!
Daphne: How much wine did you drink before I got here? What do your businesses have to do with you being an absolute fool and a moron? Does that give you a free pass from acting like a decent, adult woman? What? Daphne shakes her head and laughs. You got upset that I told you I did not know about your cooking show or whatever you wanna call it. So, you doubled down on the criticism of the clam bake. Is that simple enough for you to understand it, Erica?
Amal: Amal busts out laughing. No, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to laugh.
Erica: No honey, let’s not act dense and confused now. You brought up my businesses, and now you’re trying to back peddle. You’ve been coming for my successes when you’ve been stagnant in life. No Kids, No one to love and hell I know your parents are baffled and sleepless at night knowing their daughter hasn’t produced anything out of that decaying vagina of hers. Like I said, I gave you a pass on the yacht, you aren’t getting another one.
The camera pans around the group of Ladies in the living room as we see their faces of shock and horror as the fight intensifies and the scene continues…
Polly: Erica, that’s mean! Let’s stop this now, it’s not nice.
Billie: This is harsh!
Erica: I could give one fuck at the moment. She came for ME!
Polly: Just stop, both of you!
Teairra’s Confessional: Do I feel bad about Erica smacking Daphne around? Absolutely not, she sat up there and talked about both me and Erica in a text and thought she could leave unscathed? Absolutely not, the plane had other plans for her.
Billie: I think you both came looking for each other and you both found each other.
Daphne: Yeah, definitely way too much wine. No one here mentioned your businesses or anything else. All I said is you clearly cannot act like a decent, classy adult. Daphne shrugs. All I said, and the girls can attest to it, is I didn’t know about your cooking videos that no one watches. As for the personal life, you want to talk about being loved? Who had their husband caught with another woman? Daphne smirks.
Erica: You wanna talk about husbands? Erica looks over at Billie. Does she really wanna talk about husbands?
Billie: Okay Daphne let’s not do that…
Daphne: Yes, let’s! What’s your husband’s girlfriend’s name?
Billie: Billie stands up. I DON’T WANT ANYONE TALKING ABOUT ANYONE’S HUSBAND!
Teairra: Oh, absolutely not, Daphne you mentioned me in that text too, I need you to address that as WELL, because I’ve been nothing but at least TRYING to be nice to you!
Amal: Amal walks over to Daphne. Let’s go to the other room for a second.
Billie: Billie looks at Erica. Let’s just stop this.
Polly: Don’t let Billie get outed!
Daphne: Daphne bursts out laughing. Oh goodness, I didn’t know I had alcohol that strong in the house.
Billie: Polly, do you ever shut the HELL UP? My God!
Amal: Come on. Let’s go take a breather Daphne
We then watch as Amal and Daphne walk to the bar across the room as the group separates for a moment…
Teairra: Break it up? I need to talk to the girl.
Billie: Teairra, why don’t you go over there and talk to her?
Polly: I just don’t think tonight’s the night Teairra. She’s upset.
Billie: Erica, now what the hell was that about?
Erica’s Confessional: Daphne has lost the plot, I gave her a pass on the yacht but bitch if you thought you were going to try something like that again, you had another thing coming. You wanted a moment, let me give you one.
Erica: Billie, she kept trying to downplay my successes you know how hard I’ve worked for everything I got! Her little architecture business is barely making 7 figures and she’s coming for me? I’m not playing that.
The camera then pans over to Amal and Daphne as they chat by the bar…
Amal: Look, I think you’re articulating yourself well, but you can’t go low like that with her. You having this conversation is the right thing to do, but keep it above board.
Daphne: Amal, she is in my family house, being rude, calling me names and trying to play games with me? I want her gone, now.
Amal: Is that really what you want to do?
Teairra: Teairra walks over to Amal and Daphne and interrupts the conversation. I get that y’all are talking, but Daphne, you got something to say to me?
Daphne: Daphne turns to Teairra. I really feel that I’ve been trying with you, and you’ve just been very dismissive and unresponsive. Daphne shrugs. At the little game night, it felt like you and Erica were really kind of tag teaming me, it didn’t feel nice. But I don’t have any real issues with you. At least you’ve been a decent guest, unlike others.
Teairra: Teairra makes a face. Dismissive? I was actually really nice to you all my feelings about you shifted when you implied I was combative or whatever you said to me and then doubled down on it the other day, it wasn’t a tag team but it really could’ve been even just now…
Amal: Oh no. I don’t think we want that.
Daphne: Daphne sighs. Look, I don’t think it’s that deep between us. I was a bit upset with everything that was going on the other night, and I felt like you just added onto it. We barely have spent any time one on one. Daphne shrugs. This has not been the trip I hoped for.
Teairra: Teairra looks at Amal. I’m just saying if she wants that she can get that, but if she has her hands up coming in peace I’m good. Teairra turns back towards Daphne. Okay, so you’re taking your prejudgments back towards me? We can move on if that’s what you want!
Amal: Well, it can still be fixed Daphne. Go over there and let’s put it to bed and enjoy our last night. Come on Daph. You’re the hostess. We can still have a fun night. Let’s just put it to bed.
We then watch as Amal, Teairra, and Daphne begin to make their way back over to the group, as the scene continues…
Polly: Can we just like sit and talk? Like a normal pajama party? Why is everyone being so dramatic?
Erica: Erica looks over at Polly. The same reason you got riled up they called you a whore.
Polly: They didn’t call me a whore Erica. Nobody wants to hear that though, do they?
Daphne: That’s fine with me, let’s both start over with each other with no prejudices. Daphne smiles at Teairra, then walks back to the other women. So, I think you… Daphne looks at Erica. Won’t certainly be spending the night here, there’s a hotel nearby. Now everyone else is good, right?
Billie: Daphne let Erica stay, this is supposed to be a sisterhood thing.
Polly’s Confessional: I think I’m the only one here tonight ready to have a good time, they’re all just moaning and screaming at each other. It’s so weird.
Daphne: A sisterhood? Let’s recap, I am a bitch, my family friends are creeps, she hated every single activity I organized. Yeah, not much sisterhood or bonding there.
Erica: Check, Check, Check.
Billie: I mean I’ve gotten into it with everyone here except you Daphne since I’ve been in Connecticut and I’m still here. I think we should just table the conversation between you and Erica until you get back to Twitter.
Teairra: Teairra sits down with her drink in hand. Well, me and Erica have been through much worse and look at us now.
Polly: Honestly you girls are killing my vibe. It’s enough, can we stop this please?
Daphne: Good, so we agree! Have a good night Erica! Hope there’s some room available!
Erica: Gladly Bitch! Erica looks at the producers off camera. Bring my bags down.
Amal: Please let her stay. You don’t want this weekend to end like this.
Teairra: Erica, you don’t have to go yet! Keep her bags upstairs please, we’re all grown women here.
Amal: Daphne, come on. This is childish.
Erica: Thank you Teairra, we have really come such a long way. I’m just glad we’ve made our way back towards sisterhood.
Billie: Teairra and Erica, what advice can you offer some of these ladies who have a hard time letting go of things and moving forward with some of the ladies here?
Erica: Stop being stubborn and actually hear each other out. Teairra and I walked on eggshells with each other instead of just addressing any and everything when we first had issues. I think just being open and honest from the beginning can definitely help with moving forward. It might not be what you wanna hear but it’ll definitely better the friendship.
Polly: Cheers to always being open and honest and real! It’s the only way to live a happy life, girls. Well, and lots of sex! Duh!
Teairra: I think we were both at certain points where we didn’t give a fuck to hear each other out, but when we got over that barrier and actually thought about the history and friendship we shared with each other we started to care and actually reflect, and I’m glad we got over that.
Billie: Wasn’t your life built on lies, deceit and scandals Polly? Billie laughs.
Polly: Who told you that Billie? What sources or texts do you have for that to be something to be coming out of your big mouth?
Erica’s Confessional: I’m actually so proud of Teairra and I, we’ve come a long way and we’ve just been getting our sisterhood back. I’m hoping that along the way everyone can truly get that feeling of sisterhood even if it’s with Daphne. Not today though, not today.
Billie: Well, it came from your mouth. You having an affair with your best friend’s husband isn’t a scandal, a lie or deceitful?
Polly: My life is no concern of yours, although I know you think about it constantly.
Billie: No, I just can’t believe we have to subject ourselves to low class like you!
Polly: It was a mistake yes, one that many people make Billie in their lives. It doesn’t define me or my relationship and shame on you for acting like it does.
Teairra: You just gave her a bracelet Billie! C’mon, this is crazy!
Polly: You’re just a bully Billie.
Billie: This girl has been poking at me all night. I tried to be cordial with her. I did, I really did. Billie pauses. You’re right Polly. I chew and spit girls like you out for fun. Billie smirks. Now what else is going on?
Polly: You have no good qualities about you. You constantly ignore me, belittle me, act like I’m not in the room. You do not know me or know anything about me or my life or what I’ve done, accomplished or been through. Your heart is black.
Amal: Can we just get to the bottom of it with you two? Billie, what do you need from Polly to move on? She’s here, Billie. She’s physically here. She’s going to be here. So what do you need from her to move on?
Polly: I’m just retaliating to what I’m being served Amal. I’ve done nothing to her. Except breathe.
Amal: Polly, shut up. I’m trying to help you. Just say less.
Polly’s Confessional: At this point, I don’t know what Billie or the other ladies expect or want from me. Yeah, I have a past and yeah it wasn’t conventional, but it’s my life and it’s real and I’ll be the first to own it.
Billie: I need her to stop with the snide comments. She always has something slick to say. Plus, her talking about my drinking when she just met me was weird. Since then, she keeps speaking on me like she knows me like. It’s so weird. I know you know I know your ex best friend’s mom but you don’t know me from Adam sweetheart.
Amal: Ok Polly, will you stop talking about Billie’s drinking?
Polly: You’re the biggest liar and fraud I have ever met. You come for me, and I’ll happily come right back Billie. I tried to be nice and get to know you. I mentioned your drinking once because you can’t keep my name out of that mouth of yours. Stop acting all brand new when you’re called out.
Billie: Let me ask you all. If someone you met within the first five minutes tells you that they fucked their best friend’s husband, destroyed a marriage, split up children from their parents, all for love. Would you want to be their friend? Billie looks around the group.
Amal: You know what… Amal stands up. You girls go for it. I don’t care. Tear each other apart at this point. I’m done with it. I’m going to bed.
Billie: This girl is incapable of having an adult conversation, Amal. What do you expect?
Amal: I expected us to have a civilized evening as grown fucking women, Billie. I expected the 6 of us to sit down and enjoy each other’s company. But no… Amal starts to scream. THAT’S TOO FUCKING MUCH TO ASK FROM YOU WOMEN!
Polly: She’s nuts and it’s creepy!
Billie: Well, when we hang with children that’s the behavior we are going to get. I’m tired of you cussing at me Amal. I bought her a bracelet and tried to extend the olive branch.
Teairra: Teairra whispers to Erica. Why is she yelling…
Polly: You gave me a bracelet and said nothing to me.
Billie: I told you we got you and Daphne one since the four of us got one! I even smiled at you. I mean I wasn’t going to kiss you on the lips. I don’t know what else you wanted from me.
Polly: Do not talk to me, okay. I’m so over you and your stinky attitude and your ridiculous obsession with me
Billie: I wish I had the time in my day to obsess over you. Billie gets up. You need to seek therapy. You’re BROKEN Polly.
Polly: I’m the most stable one here actually.
Billie: Billie laughs. Goodnight girls, the delusion is setting in for some.
Polly: Polly laughs. You’re a bitter betty! Have another wine honey! We all saw the bottle next to your bed!
We then watch as we see all the Ladies dispersing from the living room as a tense music fills the air…
Daphne: Daphne walks away from the women, talking to herself. One thing’s for damn sure, these women are never ever coming back here. Hell, I’d rather set the property on fire!
As we watch Daphne go in her bedroom and shut the door, the scene shifts as we are transported to several days later, after the Ladies have returned home to Twitter. We watch as we see the Ladies going about their days, before the scene shifts once more and we see Amal making her way into Polly’s clinic as the scene begins…
Amal’s Confessional: We’ve been back from Nantucket for a few days and the girls have all kind of retreated into their corners. You’ve got this Billie and Polly nonsense coupled with Daphne, Teairra and Erica scraping. Amal puts fingers to her temple and pauses. It’s all just giving me a headache. So today, I’m stopping by Polly’s clinic to catch up. We left things off in an… okay place, so let’s see how this goes.
Polly: Polly is seen working the front desk. Okay, there you go my love. Polly hands the lady a receipt. And just keep your lip on ice for the next couple hours to ensure you do not bruise or swell to much hun, then let us know how you do next week with the peel, thanks hun!
Amal: Amal walks into Polly’s clinic and sees Polly at the front desk. Well look at you in business mode! I love it. Amal laughs and gives Polly a kiss on the cheek.
Polly: Oh, hi honey, welcome.
Amal: Thank you, hopefully we’ll have a more pleasant time this time around.
Polly: I mean let’s leave that at the door. Polly laughs. Can I get you a drink? Something nice and cold?
Amal: At the door, down the block and two suburbs over. Amal laughs. Yeah, sure. Maybe a tea?
Polly: Great. So, what’s up hun, what do I owe the pleasure? Did you rebook an appointment here?
Amal: Well, you know… I wanted to check on you after everything that happened that last night. I really tried to go to bat for you with Billie and you took it about 15 steps backwards.
Polly: I’m just kind of done trying to reason with Billie. I’ve never been around someone who doesn’t know me but pretends like they know my life and my story.
Amal’s Confessional: I tried to help Polly. Like I really tried to help her, but her ego got in the way. So maybe me having this conversation with her will help
Polly: It’s not something I’m interested in continuing to give any attention to. I’m a good time girl, Billie just seems so lost and desperate for the attention to always be on her.
Polly’s Confessional: It’s nice to see Amal turn up and try to move forward with me, it’s showing me that all may not be lost. Even if she wants me to talk about bully. I mean Billie.
Amal: Here’s what you have to understand Polly… Amal puts her hands together. Billie is friends with the mother of your ex best friend. It’s only natural for her to have an this thing with you but that can’t continue on. It’s becoming every time we’re together And I think on that last night before I kind of blew up, there was hope there. Billie was listening to me and seemed open to having some kind of a conversation with you.
Polly: I’m no longer interested in it to be honest, Amal. The things she has said, the lies she’s been telling. And the incorrect statements about me are just not reasonable.
Amal: Listen, you aren’t exactly above going in the mud as well. You’ve thrown out some comments on her and her drinking.
Polly: My ex-friend works close by as you know. Me and her are fine. So why does Billie have an issue with something that happened years ago? Billie isn’t even close to her.
Amal: That’s a conversation for you and Billie.
Polly: She got a DUI and continues to drink and show herself up. To me, something has to be said about that. She wants me to be accountable for something that happened years ago, her issue happened very recently.
Amal: But you can’t say that Polly and in the same breath say she can’t make comments about you and your situation.
Polly: You poke a bear and what happens? It bites.
Amal: You’re both just poking each other, and getting mad that the other is biting.
Polly: Like I said, I’m not going to be indulging her any longer. I’m fine with ignoring her like she does me.
Amal: Here’s the thing Polly, this is a group of girlfriends. Yes, we have our shit but we’re a group of friends and if you want to be a part of this group of friends you have to at least be able to be in the same place with her at the same time.
Polly: She doesn’t call me by my name Amal. She pretends she’s got dementia when it comes to me. Anyway, I’m more interested in why you’re here today and how we can get back to building something meaningful.
Amal: And I’ve told her she’s dead wrong for doing that and that it’s disrespectful. My advice is that the two of you sit down away from the rest of us and just have an honest conversation. Don’t walk in there with you did this and you did that. Walk in there ready to take ownership of your part. I’m just trying to bring everything back together and I think if the you and Billie thing can die down then maybe the situation between Erica and Daphne can calm down.
Polly: I can do that if it means it’s more comfortable for the group. Everyone just seems too uptight. We need to be having fun and enjoying ourselves.
Amal: I agree. I hope we can all do that at Billie’s THC dinner that’s coming up…
Polly: Polly looks surprised. I missed the invite list I see.
Amal: Oh? You aren’t invited?
Polly: I didn’t get a message or email or owl sent, no. Funny how Billie wants to make amends but doesn’t invite me and excludes me. Billie knows what she’s doing I’ll give her that Amal babe, she’s a damn good actress.
Amal: This is why you two need to sort this out and I don’t think this dinner party is the right setting.
Polly: Well, I’ll be sure to remove her from my events until I’ve met with her and sorted this out
Amal: Hopefully it doesn’t come to that… but in all seriousness, have you spoken with any of the other girls since the trip?
Polly’s Confessional: Okay Billie I’ve got your number, I see what you’re doing. Let’s see what this brings…
Polly: Teairra and Erica, yes. Daphne, I’m kind of surprised by, she’s just excusing Billie’s behavior.
Amal: I’ve spoken to everyone. I don’t know how this happened but I’ve somehow become the middle man between everybody. I didn’t realize that you had an issue with Daphne.
Polly: I’ll be honest, I’m just like a say what you mean, mean what you say person. Daphne is a bit wish washy.
Amal: Wish washy? Really? I’ve never seen that side of her.
Polly: Well, we’ve also done a lot of business together. And now she’s seemingly too busy to do anything for me.
Amal’s Confessional: I don’t know. I don’t see this whole wish washy thing Polly is talking about. From my vantage point, Daphne was saying what she meant and meaning what she said when we were in Nantucket.
Polly’s Confessional: Daphne’s office just haven’t come back to me on anything and it’s kinda weird like, I’ve spent hundreds of thousands of my husband’s dollars in her company and she can’t seem to prioritize me?
Amal: Well, I don’t know about that. She is helping me with my Amal Hadid’s Mani-Pawdi line
Polly: That’s great, how’s that going?
Amal: It’s good!! I’m actually going to the lab later this week to check out the final formulations. It’s all just so… exciting. To see this dream starting to become a reality.
Polly: That’s great babe, I hope it goes well for you and you get it out there! I’d love to find out more about it.
Amal: Thank you! Yes definitely! But anyway sweetheart, I’m glad I stopped by and that we’re in this place of moving forward. I now just want you to take my advice and fix this nonsense with Billie, okay? Amal goes and gives Polly a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I better run. I have a meeting with the designer of the polish bottle downtown.
As we watch Amal quickly leave Polly’s clinic, we watch as the scene shifts and we see Erica and Teairra walking around a crowded farmer’s market as the scene continues…
Erica’s Confessional: After our tragedy of a girls trip, I’ve been full on in mommy and work mode but I’ve invited Teairra out to help me shop and of course get my gossip on.
Teairra: Girl! This trip… Teairra laughs. How are you feeling about the whole Daphne situation?
Erica: What situation are we directly referring to? There was so much to discuss.
Teairra: The whole argument between you two, it got real nasty even I was gagged like woah! You took it there with that bitch. Teairra laughs.
Erica: I didn’t want to go there with the girl but she constantly kept attacking my businesses? Like where do you get off coming for me and my fortune when you can barely get a 7-figure income? I gave her warning after warning and what did she do? She kept coming at me.
Erica’s Confessional: I gave Daphne multiple warnings to watch her tongue when it came to what I built myself but she continued to make these digs and for why? Because she had a human soundboard in the name of Amal cackling? You poked at a sleeping bear and now you’ve seen the ramifications.
Teairra: Teairra grabs some fruits putting them in her basket as they walk around. Oh, she’s definitely good at throwing rocks and hiding her hands so I can’t even be mad that you took it there, she was trying your intelligence & she needed to be treated accordingly.
Erica: I don’t have any deep beef towards Daphne even after she tried to come for my marriage, like congratulations? I don’t care about that man! I feel like giving her some advice about how she stays quiet when addressed turned into her perfect moment to turn up. Like I said, I don’t really have no feelings towards the girl and I turned up in her house, so. How are you feeling about her? She seemed very… “apologetic” towards you.
Teairra: Exactly but I mean I don’t even know to feel about daphne, like yea she apologized but I feel like it was only because you tore her up she didn’t want that to happen again when it came to me, because I was a part of the reason she was about to leave now all of a sudden it’s no issue? I just don’t know about that girl.
Teairra’s Confessional: Daphne…me and you don’t seem to be eye to eye with each other at all times so far, but I mean if she says she has no real beef with me then I’m good on her, I don’t want to have constant disgust with somebody who clearly doesn’t want that energy with me.
Erica: I think the whole trip to Nantucket was a waste of an opportunity, the house was gorgeous but I don’t think she was prepared to truly host a group like us. Erica laughs. That girl was stressed out. Billie had her stressed out before we even entered that house, right then I knew it was going to be a trip from Hell.
Teairra: Girl, I’m glad Billie finally got it together because that introduction? I was almost ready to choke her out I guess the wine or whatever she had finally wore off because honey.
Erica: Are you okay with her now? Her and I talked and we got past our issues but I know you started taking off that purse.
Teairra: I mean I guess we’re good, she apologized to me or whatever and we didn’t get into after that so I think we’re good now, but you never know how long that lasts chile.
Erica: I think Billie adores you though, I mean us 3 used to have so much fun together so hopefully we can all get back to that. Because girl, we used to have a time!
Teairra: Speaking of a fun time! That boy that is in your cooking show y’all seem to be having a good time together, what’s up with that?? Y’all feeling each other?
Erica: Erica laughs. Girllllll, Deion and I are just friends. Of course, we flirt here and there but we’ve kept it strictly to friends. I think I’m not ready for another relationship right now and I’m honestly scared to ruin such a great friendship. Like, Deion and I are such good friends.
Erica’s Confessional: When Deion came into my life, it was honestly a breath of fresh air. He was so fun, so adventurous and just made me feel alive again. He’s been apart of my journey and helping me heal from Robert and he’s really a bestfriend to me and my child. Chance adores him! Like seriously adores him.
Teairra: So, you do feel a connection with him but you’re scared to pursue it and it goes wrong now you lost a friend too? That makes sense honey, I say just keep it how it is until the wind takes you where it wants to take you chile.
Erica: Obviously there’s an attraction there, I mean look at him but I know right now, I’m focused on me. Plus, I love being single. In Amal’s words, I’m enjoying my hoeness. Robert actually reached out to me and that’s another thing holding me back. I want this whole situation done with before even exploring a next possibility.
Teairra: Wait what? He reached out to you and said what? Is it about your child?
Teairra’s Confessional: Erica telling me that Robert is holding her back from exploring her options just made me jump all the way back because hello? I didn’t even know he was still in contact with her we obviously have a lot to catch up on because woah?
Erica: I didn’t tell you? He’s threatening to contest our divorce because of the terms of Sole Custody. Robert hasn’t done anything for Chance but stay far from us and he’s asking for that. But, he actually reached out to have a conversation without the lawyers. Hopefully, to get to some resolution. I don’t wanna see that man but at the end of the day, I’m attached to that man for the rest of my life and its about Chance now.
Teairra: What…is he okay? I know he’s not trying to get full custody because you’ve done everything for Chance, I don’t like that for you at all he needs to get it together and QUICKLY.
Erica: He wants joint custody but I’m seeking full custody. He’s never done anything for Chance and I don’t see why does he want to be a part of Chance’s life now? I’d never keep Chance away from his father but how dare you threaten to contest anything?
Teairra: That’s what I’m saying, Chance deserves to have a father in his life but at the same time trying to have joint custody when you don’t do anything for him is pointless at the end of the day, he just wants to be in your presence.
Erica: Obviously, but me having a stake in his company is enough of him for me now. Moving on from my tragedy of a marriage, how are you and Donte? You guys have been such a strong couple.
Teairra: We’re good! Still going good actually I’ve just been in the studio a lot with Lorenzo, he’s been trying to show me all the ropes of the music industry and helping me a lot.
Erica: The same Lorenzo that popped up in Nantucket? How does Donte feel about that? Don’t take it as shade but you know spending a lot of time with another man can come off a bit suspicious, especially in this city.
Erica’s Confessional: I have no doubt that Teairra is being faithful to her husband especially because she’s been by his side through any and everything. However, we’re in Twitter and everyone is nosy. Pretty soon, someone’s going to spot this girl always with this man and we know how that’s going to go.
Teairra: He doesn’t seem to be having an issue with it, I think it’s just innocent business moves he knows how much I want this for myself and he’s just supporting me along the way!
Erica: Well that’s good, just be careful. And how is the song coming along?
Teairra: It’s going so good! I actually need you on the song Eerica seriously, its called Insecure and I think you would eat the rap verse up!
Erica: Oh, like seriously? You must remember our cyphers from back in the day. In honor of renewing our sisterhood, I’m so in.
Erica’s Confessional: Teairra and I have really been through thick and thin, and it feels amazing to be in this space with her again. Like, we’re doing good and she even just offered me a place on her song? I’m always down for a good rap and Teairra knows that.
Erica: Send me the details and I’ll be there but I think I have everything for my next cooking episode, so we can get up out of here and get some margaritas!
Teairra: Yes! I’m so about to let you know everything, I’m ready to get up out of here and make me a smoothie with all these fruits! I love me a good smoothie.
As Teairra and Erica are seen paying for their purchases and leaving the farmer’s market, the scene shifts yet again as we see Billie making her way into an upscale restaurant for dinner as the scene continues…
Billie’s Confessional: Whew I made it through another Girls trip! Now it’s time to get back to business and get this tv show off the ground. I’ve decided to invite Daphne out to see how she’s feeling after the PJ party and then I’ve also invited my longtime friend Brian Social to join us so I can pick their brain about the tv producing industry as she had a famous talk show of her own at one time many moons ago. I think these two will click right away. They both have the same kind of humor and “dryness” to them! Billie laughs.
The camera then pans to Daphne as she walks into the restaurant and is shown to Billie’s table by a server…
Daphne: Thank you. Daphne smiles. Oh hey there, messy Billie!
Billie: MESSY? Hey gorgeous! Have a seat!
Daphne: I can’t wait to meet your friend.
Daphne’s Confessional: Tonight, I am having dinner with Billie and a friend of hers, Brian. I am not too happy with Billie for bringing up this nonsense about my ex. Daphne shrugs. But I guess she wanted to help, trying to make the ladies see where I come from.
Billie: Yes, have you ever heard of Brain Social? She was in this group for many years and also had her own tv show at one point!
Just then, the camera shifts once more, as we see Brian being led through the restaurant before she throws her arms up in the air at the sight of Billie…
Brian Social (Billie’s Friend): BILLIE! Baby cakes!
Billie: BRIAN!! How are you doll? Did you just get done shopping on X Drive? What’s the shopping bags for? Did you come bearing gifts? Billie laughs.
Billie’s Confessional: God, I love this bitch and all the extraness that comes with her. Brian is most DEFINITELY back.
Brian: I was shopping, of course!!
Daphne: Oh, a lot going on there. Daphne motions to Brian’s bunch of bags and laughs. Nice to meet you, I’m Daphne!
Billie: Brian, meet Daphne! She’s my dear friend and famous architect here in Twitter.
Brian: You look so familiar!! Nice to meet you doll.
Daphne: Oh, do I? I don’t get that often. Daphne laughs.
Brian: She looks just like Tina, my assistant!
Daphne: Oh, well she must’ve been gorgeous then!
Billie: Oh my GOD! She does look like Tina! I mean like spitting twins. Do you still have her on payroll?
Brian: She was a bitch, but the standard is low darling.
Daphne: Oh… Daphne looks surprised. Well, I promise you I’m not a bitch, right Billie?
Billie: Daphne is the furthest thing from being a bitch. Actually, the girls have been taking their turns at coming at her, Brian. Can you believe that?
Brian: Wow! What are they doing??
Daphne: Well, let’s see… calling me a bitch, disrespecting my family home, disrespecting my guests, the list goes on and on! Daphne shrugs.
Brian: Who!? Who’s still around?
Billie: Well Daphne was so gracious to take us to Nantucket a few days ago and as usual the trip went left and took a turn for the worse, and of course, I was in the mix of it. Billie laughs. I mean when am I not ever bringing something to the table.
Daphne: You girls traumatized our house manager honey. Daphne laughs a bit. Poor Louise!
Daphne’s Confessional: Louise told me she had never, ever witnessed such atrocious, wild behavior. Those are her words, not mine!
Billie: I don’t think you know many of these girls. It’s Erica Ka’Oir, Teairra K-Blanco, Penelope Pocket or something like that, Amal Hadid, myself and then the fabulous Daphne.
Brian: Amal! That granny is still around!? And I do know Erica…
Billie: Well, Amal got a new face and new personality! She’s here in her full glory!
Daphne: Granny? Daphne looks confused and turns to Billie. Is that our Amal? The always-naked-vixen?
Billie: It was just a mess honestly! Daphne had a beautiful trip planned and it was derailed so quickly.
Daphne: It sure was. Hell, I almost left early without notice.
Brian: Well, if I see these girls I’ll knock some sense into them.
Daphne: Please do! Especially that Erica… Daphne shakes her head. I’d never seen such behavior from a grown adult.
Billie: They definitely need some sense knocked into them! Daphne, how are you feeling after the trip ended with the ladies? Myself including. I feel like I could feel some tension with you when I seen you come in earlier.
Billie’s Confessional: Look I feel like Daphne is upset with me about what I told the other girls but I was only trying to help the ladies understand some of her background so that they could lay off of her. She’s not going to be anyone in this groups punching bag.
Daphne: Well, to be honest I was a bit taken aback that you would mention the situation with my ex to the other girls. Especially after seeing how awful Erica had been to me. I think that wasn’t the right time or place, Billie. And, by the way, where do they get that he was my husband from? We were barely engaged!
Daphne’s Confessional: I did have a very volatile relationship with my ex, who I was at one point engaged to, but he was never my husband and I don’t think this is anyone’s business but my own.
Billie: Look, it was a mistake that I mixed up his relationship to you but I didn’t do it out of a place of malice. Billie looks at Brian. I am not a malicious person, am I? I was just trying to get the girls off your back and let them know a little bit about your past and why you’re reserved and non-confrontational all the time. So, I do want to say I’m sincerely sorry if I upset you in any way, that wasn’t my intention. I just wanted to get the girls off your back and I was hoping by me telling them about it that it would cause them to lay off of you
Brian: Billie is a very loyal friend. I’m not surprised you did this.
Brian’s Confessional: Loyal yes. Catty…yes to that as well! But that is classic Billie for ya!
Daphne: I understand why you did that, I just don’t think the timing was great. Erica was ready to throw that right back in my face, which isn’t cool. But don’t worry, I am not upset with you. I was just a bit… surprised, that’s all.
Billie: Well I’ll handle Erica if she brings it back up. She doesn’t want to go that route though because she’s got her own marriage woes she’s dealing with.
Brian: Is she getting divorced?
Daphne: Yes, her husband cheated on her honey.
Brian: Oh, she finally found out?
Billie’s Confessional: Honestly, I am a bit disappointed in Erica for throwing what I told her in confidence about Daphne in Daphne’s face to try and hurt her. I just didn’t like that. I know Erica is better than that, she needs to get a grip though and stop being a bad friend to me.
Billie: Wait, what do you mean, did you know Robert was cheating on her? Billie looks at Brian in shock.
Brian: I thought it was so obvious. He would never touch her. Granted, don’t blame him!!
Daphne’s Confessional: Well… Brian certainly does not hold back. I like this girl!
Billie: I thought they were a loving couple but looking back there were definitely signs. Why don’t you blame him, Brian?
Brian: See what I mean? Tigers don’t change their stripes, am I right?? Erica has always been nauseating. As soon as that mouth opens, you just want to stuff something in there to get her to be quiet.
Daphne: Well damn… Daphne laughs a bit. I can’t disagree.
Brian: Billie, did you at least enjoy the trip?
Billie: I didn’t know you knew Erica like that B! This is all news to me!! I don’t know if the divorce is getting to her or what, but she been something else lately. We even had it out with one another in Nantucket. I pretty much got into it with everyone at one point on the trip in this group — except Daphne.
Brian: Brian feigns surprise. Oh no! Not you having drama!
Billie: Billie nudges Brian. Quit acting surprise you know they all like to take a shot at this B! I’m always at the tip of these ladies’ tongues and the first thought in their brain. There’s this new girl named Penelope, no Polly and she is quite the character!
Daphne: Yes, they’ve been butting heads ever since they met. It’s really… something.
Brian: Did you and Amal get into it?
Billie: Within five minutes of meeting her she had told me all about her and her now husband got to together. She slept with her best friend’s husband and stole him from her and broke up a happy home! How shameful! And yes me and Amal had our little moment, but we ended up kissing and making up that night we fought. You know I’m not one to hold grudges.
Brian: So have you totally moved on? Over it?
Billie: I’m moved on with everyone except That Polly girl! She just is weird to me. Maybe it’s because I’m old money Twitter and she’s some kind of new money Twitter. I just find her unconventional relationship weird. It’s weird to me girls. WEIRD.
Daphne: You see Brian, Polly met her husband while they were both married. He was her best friend’s husband actually. And I guess they cheated and then got together. They’ve been together for a while now.
Brian: Maybe you’re both very alike and that’s why you aren’t clicking? What’s wrong with whores Billie?!
Billie: Do you want me to smash a glass up against this wall right now Brian! Billie laughs. You know I’ve done it once! Don’t ever say that again! We are far from alike. I have no ounce of jealous bone in my bottle towards her. Brian, would you want a whore around your man or in your friend group? My whole thing is if she’ll betray her best friend what loyalty does she have to us?
Brian: Simmer down there!! I’m just messing with you!
Billie: Billie laughs. You know how easily I get worked up.
Daphne: Let’s talk about something more fun, shall we? Did you know Billie got me and some of the girls to star in her new show?
Billie: Oh yes Daph, I’m glad you brought that up! I did want to talk to you about that Brian! I need some advice, and support with this new project I’ve decided to take on!
Brian: A show!?
Billie: Yes, I’ve been approached by NBC Universal to do a piloted series it’s going to be kinda desperate housewives meet Sex and the City! The only problem is it’s been hard for me to get this up off the ground. I’ve ran into road block after roadblock. I am starting to feel defeated.
Brian: No, this is amazing! I was demanding a Desperate Housewives reboot!
Billie: It will be so great! I just have to get it off the ground. How did you manage being a producer and staring in your own? Did you not ever feel overwhelmed?
Brian: Somewhat, but I look at like, well someone has to do list. I’m also a control freak.
Billie: I am too, but NBC has more of a pull than I do in this instance. They’ve kinda shot down all my idea and have done their own “spin” to things. They have wanted to put in certain actors and actresses that I don’t think should be on my set. One of them was one of the ones that was going around telling other people in the entertainment industry how I was making up all my sexual harassment accusations.
Daphne: Oh, wow, I am so sorry. That must be awful…
Billie: It’s extremely hard. I’m trying to not make it a big deal because I want this to be successful but it’s hard for me to want to be around all of that especially given how fresh the situation is for me.
Daphne’s Confessional: I know what Billie went through with the court case, it was tough on her. So for her to now be forced to work with someone that was involved in it must be incredibly hard.
Billie’s Confessional: Look the entertainment industry is not for the weak. One minute they give you a show to get you back on your feet and then the next they add someone to your cast who was involved in your court case with no warning. It’s been a hard battle I’ve fought to get past this, so it’s triggering for me to have to be around this person all the time again.
Billie: But I don’t want to make this dinner a damper! I say let me pay our tab and we step over next door to TAO and go to their studio 54 night!
The Ladies then begin getting their stuff together to leave as the camera begins to pan out…
Brian’s Confessional: I loved catching up with my little Billie goat. It feels like the old times, and nothing has changed with our friendship. Just a little more Botox! Brian laughs.
As we see a shot of the Twitter city skyline as night falls across the city, the screen fades to black as the scene and episode come to an end.
