Season 5 – Episode 3: ‘Tell A Lady, Tell Them All’
As we see glimpses of the Twitter skyline, the screen focuses in on a park in Downtown Twitter. There we see Lauralie waiting for someone else to arrive and sitting on a park bench.
Lauralie Confessional: I didn’t get a chance to talk with Ava, but she seems like a nice person. I’d like to get to know her better.
Lauralie: Hi beautiful!
Ava: Hi there, how are you?
Lauralie: I’m doing fine actually. More time for myself and I like to work, so when I’m getting calls from my clients to help them. How about you?
Ava: Oh fun! Life is good. My two little ones keep me pretty busy and all the charity work but thankfully I’m in a really good space right now, it’s refreshing.
Lauralie: Oh lovely, how old are they? By the way, check out this ring that my husband just bought me, he’s such a lovely man!
Ava: They are eight and four. And yes girl, I saw it, I’m blinded by that rock.
Lauralie: Yes, I thought that I may hypnotize you for a bit *giggles* And that’s nice, the older one is going to school?
Ava: Yes, he’s at Twitter Academy. My late husband and I were donors to help build it, actually.
Lauralie: Wow, you seem like such a caring person. It seems like you love to help people. So, what do you think of the rest of the ladies so far?
Ava: I try, it seems like that’s been my job in this group too, caring for others. It’s bee quite a few blowups among them. Everyone has been lovely though aside from that! So, what do you think of this Joshuaa and Tyler fiasco?
Lauralie: If I have to be honest, I don’t give a… *smiles* Seriously! They should move on and stop harping on the old stuff. It’s tiresome. What do you think? Are you friends with them?
Ava: Well, I’ve been friends with Joshuaa for a long time and I’ve seen Tyler around the city. I just really hate to see them to be at odds in what should be a happy time.
Lauralie: Oh Joshua. He always exaggerates and overstates, but enough about them, no more talking about their issues.
Ava: Yes, it’s draining chile. Girl, we need to go shopping sometime because this outfit is something serious!
Lauralie: I agree. Shopping will make us happy and let’s pay with it our husband’s money. *laughs*
Ava: Or in my case, my husband’s life insurance, at least he won’t complain chile.
As the women continue laughing and enjoying getting to know one another, the screen shifts to outside of a Baby Store where we see Joshuaa shopping
Joshuaa Confessional: My due date is a week away, I’ve still got so much to buy! So I’m hitting the best baby store in Twitter!
Joshuaa: *looks through rails* Do you guys have the blue suits back in stock?
Just then we see Brian walking into the same baby store
Brian: Oh my God, Hi! Imagine running into you here.
Joshuaa: Hello there, how are you?
Brian: Good! Look at you! You’re glowing!
Joshuaa: Girl, I’m about to burst. I didn’t know you were expecting though, congrats!
Brian: *gets nervous* oh well, I mean…I’m not pregnant. It’s a long story. You see, I’ve been trying for over five years with no luck at all.
Brian Confessional: Joshuaa thought I was pregnant? Well let me go run a 5K.
Joshuaa: Well you know what Brian, I was in that same sort of situation.
Brian: Oh really? Do tell
Joshuaa: Well I’ve had two miscarriages and it’s taken me well over a year to get my little Prince. I’m sorry about your issues, I know how hard it can be.
Brian: Well I’m thinking about just giving up. It’s time to close this shop and look into adoption!
Joshuaa: I did that too! Let me tell you that if you need anything in regards to babies, I’m here and can help.
Brian: So I do have to say I’m enjoying getting to know you more. I haven’t heard the best of things. Also I heard there was drama at your party?
Joshuaa: *laughs* Give me a chance girl, I’m alright. And yes, you must know I’m sure, me and Tyler have been at odds of sorts.
Brian: OH? No! I haven’t heard anything
Brian Confessional: Sometimes you need to play dumb in life.
Joshuaa: Haha, I don’t believe you! Tyler and I have a long and complicated friendship.
Brian: Well what about you and Lauralie?
Joshuaa: Well, I don’t really have a friendship with her, she likes to poke the bear. I’m just here to have a good time.
Brian: Well take it from me, you don’t want a friendship with her.
Joshuaa: I’m not about to be friends with people who lie and fake and poke me with idiotic fabrications
Brian: Exactly. Let me tell you.. she was on my talk show a while back and it was a disaster… I mean SHE was the disaster. She asked for a stipend for her attire on the show and expected bananas to be awaiting her in the dressing room. These bananas had to be individually peeled for her and cut up into small cubes! I think she is all talk. She makes it seem like she lives this big glamorous life, meanwhile she is crumbling on the inside.
Joshuaa: Yeah I’ve heard she lies a lot and she is just so fixated on my life, it’s strange.
Joshuaa: But now c’mon bitch, you owe me a baby present!
As Brian takes the clothing out of Joshuaa’s hands, we see the women laughing and walking out of the store enjoying each other’s company. Then the screen shifts to a beachfront restaurant. We see Billie and Joshuaa sitting down and beginning to catch up on one another’s lives. Next, Ava arrives and greets the girls, taking her seat.
Ava: Sorry I’m late girls, I was room mom today for the boys so I’ve been glueing macaroni to cardboard and handing out animal crackers. Joshuaa girl, you look ready to POP!
Joshuaa: Yes girl, only a week left! So what is up with you though girl?
Ava: Well, it’s been interesting and challenging adjusting to life as a single mom and I’m ready to get back to myself and start dating again….. I think
Billie: Ooo, Miss Ava getting her a man! We love it. What’s your type?
Ava: Well I personally like me some chocolate *laughs*
Joshuaa: Ladies, I am so happy that you are both here, it’s great to see my friends getting to know one another and spending time together.
Billie: Yes girl, I wouldn’t want it any other way! Now can I be in the room when that baby comes out!
Joshuaa: Lord NO girl, but you’ll be the first to see my new vagina once this baby comes out, Doctor Devyn will be rejuvenating that thing at the first chance she gets.
Ava: Joshuaa, speaking of friends…how are things with you and Tyler?
Joshuaa: *pauses* Next please? *laughs* Actually girls, I have got some piping hot tea for you now that I think about it. Well, I met with Paul before he returned to YouTube and he certainly had a lot to say about our “good” friend, Tyler Newman-Scott and his behavior at the gala.
Joshuaa then proceeds to show the other two ladies the text messages that he had forwarded to his phone from Paul’s. In the messages, we see texts saying that saying Joshuaa was desperate for a baby, how he is no friend to anyone and is disgustingly fake and gross.
Billie: Girl, this is ridiculous! Now who in gods green earth is just desperate for a baby. Isn’t your marriage pretty stable?
Ava Confessional: When I saw those text I really couldn’t believe what I was reading! Who can say that about someone?! Makes me side eye Tyler FOR REAL.
Joshuaa: She was crying all over me at my baby shower blaming me for our problems and now look at what he’s doing! You know I don’t get emotional about things like this, but… *tear begins to well up* The longer I sit on this the longer I feel so attacked and so hurt from someone that I loved so much
Billie: Oh Joshuaa, don’t cry! It isn’t worth it.
Joshuaa: And it doesn’t end there Billie! So I bump into Brian, who you both know at a baby boutique, I’ve know him for a long time, and you know we talk and we catch up and he tells me how he’s desperate for a baby and how he’s trying to figure it out. BUT THEN, to top it all off, he pretended not to know a thing about my issues with Tyler. That’s someone that I have know for years girls! Anyways, who even goes into a baby boutique if they aren’t pregnant?
Billie: Well maybe she’s pregnant than?
Joshuaa: Nope, he told me he wasn’t, that he was just looking around.
Ava: Weird, why not look around Saks or Neiman-Marcus? Something is definitely fishy.
Joshuaa: Ladies, but please tell me if we ever have an issue. Believe me, I’ll cut you out quick, we go deeper now, I don’t have time for the bullshit.
Billie: Oh I’ve learned my lesson, with you! It is real from here on out. Us three have to make a pact to be real and true blue friends
Joshuaa Confessional: I’ve definitely felt more anger than hurt recently from this group. Tyler especially has just completely changed as a person and I’m just shocked.
As the women pay their checks and depart, the scene changes once again and we see Tyler sitting at a Tapas Restaurant waiting for others to arrive. Brian followed by Billie arrive and sit down, greeting one another and beginning to catch up on each others’ lives.
Billie’s Confessional: Today I’m sitting down with two of my best friends. Season three was rocky with me and Tyler but I want him to know I’m here for him and I have his back. Which is why I need him to know what he texted Paul the other night was wrong, I don’t think he did it out of spite. Brian I’ve known for years. I never knew they were cousins but hey the more ya know.
Billie: So Tyler, How are you doing after the other day at Joshuaa’s baby shower. I saw you were quite emotional
Tyler: He’s ridiculous honey. He says own what you did and apologize so I do that and then he says that my apologies and my tears aren’t enough. I’m done with that.
Brian: Yes cuz, he’s got it out for you.
Billie: Well the news I was delivered it didn’t seem like what you texted Paul the other night was an act of you being apologetic.
Tyler: *laughs* I can only imagine Joshuaa saw one side of those texts, but his new blonde bestie, Paul, was certainly throwing dirt too. Also that happened before I apologized at the baby shower anyways. Not that I thought the third graders would start exchanging text messages
Billie: Yeah the messages only showed what you said and not what Paul said. I don’t really know Paul, but he seems no good. I just wanted you to be aware of what Paul was putting out there about you. Joshuaa is hurt to say the least. Which I can understand. I mean surely you don’t believe that he is having a baby out of desperation to save his marriage, do you?
Tyler: It isn’t like Joshuaa wanted to be my friend again before the text messages *rolls eyes* But there’s the ammo he wanted to shoot right at me. And as far as the texts go…well I wish him well on having a baby.
Brian: Wait, wish him well? I met with him yesterday and he didn’t have the best things to say about you. He was being so vague when talking about you.
Tyler: I’m not surprised Brian, not in the slightest.
Billie: So you can’t you just say to Joshuaa you had to much to drink and that you really don’t feel that way?
Tyler: Billie, don’t you see what happened last time I tried to have a grownup conversation? He told me to leave his baby shower for crying out loud. He doesn’t want to hear what I have to say because our realities don’t quite line up
Billie: Well let’s hypothetically speak that if he was to come to you and call you out for those text messages. Just blame it on the Hennessy.
Tyler: I’ll be sure and tell him if he dares talk to the wicked Tyler *laughs*
Billie: You know I couldn’t go without telling you because I didn’t want you to be caught off guard if he came up and confronted you. So Brian what do you think about these group of ladies? I’ve known you for years, and you always have had an opinion
Brian: Well for one, Joshuaa is out for Tyler and I’m not going to let that keep going on. If he wants to have an issue with Tyler, he will have an issue with me. And I think we all know how I feel about miss Lauralie. And then I haven’t really gotten to know Devyn yet. *laughs* I mean they all seem like a bunch of chicks addicted to Xanax to me.
Billie: Well ladies, let’s have a toast, I’ve enjoyed our meal together so far. Enough about these women, here’s to friends, laughter, and success!
As the ladies continue chatting and enjoying themselves, the screen fades into the Ladies of Twitter logo.
